Team Work

“Individually, we are one drop in the ocean, together; we become a source in the ocean.”

It is amazing how much you can accomplish when it doesn't matter who gets the credit is the real essence of team work. Working as a team can be a hard goal to strive for because it feels like such an uphill battle. Trying to coordinate schedules, values, lifestyles, and goals of multiple people seems not worth the effort and so time consuming that it is just a bigger headache than a help. Don't give up because it is hard, once teamwork in the workplace in achieved you will watch not only business sore high but also the individuals that work for the organization will become empowered.

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is the first step of progress. Working together is the key of success.”

Effective teamwork will not take the place of knowing how to do the job or how to manage the work. As we learn and grow with each other we will find new strengths in our team and be able to capitalize on those, we will also find a new sense of purpose. Competing against your business’ competition is the ultimate goal but if an organization doesn't truly practice teamwork the goal will always be to beat each other in workplace no matter what costs. Often that cost is hindered progress in the business.

History is the evidence that no civilization crumbled by any outside force, but within. Similarly, as an organization we move forward should always remember one thing is as individuals we may fail but collectively, we strive against the hurdles, we can reach out for success. Teamwork is worth the time to build, maintain and strengthen.

“It is not a question of how well each individual process works; the question is how well everything works together."
